Same problem with my 27 inch lcd, its about a year and a half old. Seems to clear up sometimes and then return without explanation. Not sure why, don't understand these tv's that well, but I do notice that the green does not appear to be isolated to the TV tuner. It must be somewhere between the LCD panel and the tuners. Which sucks because a tuner would be easy to replace (think vcr), and a broken lcd panel would be easy to understand, but a internal component is going bad on these. Lawsuit in order?

First off what type of input are you using going from the ps3 to the tv. If your using HDMI try changing the different video settings. Black ops actually has a lot of problems right now on ps3. So I wouldn't use that as the basis of what is working or not, I would try other games to see if it's working. Adjust the video settings on the ps3 and see if that helps. If that doesn't try using component cables and see what that does for you. Thank you, Lee
I know of a recent recall on several Insignia models.
Check with Best Buy to see if yours is one of them.
The power supply is known to catch fire. This TV likely has a bad power supply.
green dots throughout the picture means the LCD is bad so unless your Vizio TV is under warranty then you would have to get a new TV cause the cost of the screen would be more then you paid for the TV.
Usually this problem is caused by the connections for the LCD Controller(TCON). If you disconnect and re-connect the cable until it works correctly it will usually solve this problem.
TRY UNPLUGGING SET FOR A FEW MINUTES...PLUG IN LINE CORD WHILE HOLDING PRESSING POWER BUTTON..IF THIS DOES NOT WORK..CPU BOARD IS FAILING...P/N 667-L32K5N-56I...TRY CALLING MCM FOR PARTS AVAIL/PRICE...JOE ACE
