A dvd rom is looking the dvd player!

I think so, DVD region codes are a DRM scheme. DVD videodiscs may be encoded with a region code restricting the area of theworld in which they can be played.

Thecommercial DVD player specification requires that a player to be soldin a given place not play discs encoded for a different region (region0 discs are not restricted).

so if you want to making the DVD region free,watch and copy multi region-coded DVD on any DVD player and any DVDplayer software, back up protected DVD to computer and convert DVDMovie to play on iPod iPhone PSP, et portable players, you have toremove DVD region code.

that happend to me and we had to take it apart to figure out the problem.

On the front of most DVD players there is a button with EJECT printed under it.

The same button is normally on remotes.

Try pressing this button.

DVD players are dirt cheap now. Just buy a new one, and if your TV has HDMI, get one that will hook up that way.

there is no problems about your system. Its maybe your systems is lack media "codecs" that enhance your DVD files or Movies to play. maybe you should download any HD dvd codecs and install to your system. or may search google the "media player classic" and use as your player or VLC player preety cool player for almost movies.

I would think either your IDE cable is faulty or the IDE connector on the motherboard, try swapping cables or use a double IDE cable on IDE 1 connector. You may have a faulty drive ide connection input in which case a new DVD Rom is the answer, only cheap nowadays.

Yeah i have the same problem, i would guess its a driver but i cant find it Anywhere! I cant burn dvds at all cause it doesnt recognize the disk like ursasrctos mentioned, any help at all would be appreciated, thanks [email protected]
