My remote no longer works and I cant find a universal remote that is compatible with my TV. None of the codes work, and I have bought three different remotes. What remote should I buy??
Logitec Harmony remote will work with all Akai products but it will cost more than the original pactory remote replacement. I bought mine for $115. at Walmart.
I have the same tv i bought a rf10 universal remote at circut it works fine

You can search the web to find different companies that either carry an original remote for your tv, or have your old remote control repaired.
This is one site that I found that will repair your remote control.
They also have a couple easy ways to check your remote to make sure it is working.
Check out this site, and also check on the Troubleshooting page. Also check to see if they might have the remote for your tv.

Just replace the infrared diode of your remote control in you dont know how to do that..ask the tecnician to change in infrered diode in your remote control

I purchased an RCA universal Remote and it doesn't work with it.
I would like to program the universal remote from Dish Network to turn on/off and adjust the volume for my AKAI LCT3201AD LCD TV/DVD. None of the codes work.
