CONNECTED HP OFFICEJET G85 DIRECTLY TO LAPTOP, WON'T PRINT

Make sure this printer is selected as the default printer. Check printer preferences to make sure all settings are correct then try printing a test page using the windows software. Hope this helps.

No istallation disc for hp deskjet 6940 for windows 98se

U can download the compatible software from HP.COM
choose "Software & Driver Downloads" and enter the product model # and select the correct O/S..
Download the Software first instead of straight away installing it..

Hp deskjet d 2460 driver

HP doesn't list a driver for 98se. Windows 2000 is as far back as it lists.

Officejet G85 printer

If you previously were using a parallel connection for the G85 you will need a USB cable.

If your laptop is running Vista the G85 will work as a printer, I do not think there is a scanner driver for Vista for the G85. The G85 print driver is built into VIsta, you only need to turn on the printer and install the USB to have the printer automatically installed.

Hp printer

ok...first thing...go to www.hp.com and download a fresh set of drivers for your printer, and then restart it and see if that helps. I have that happen to my G85 whenever the power gets awful(not saying that's your reason, but can be an issue)..
