Zanussi FJS 1425W - the machine is not spinning the clothes so clothes are quite wet when they are washed so have to spin but this is also not working well - washing purchased approx 7 yrs ago -

The load is unbalanced. Try moving heavier or bunched up clothes to a different place in the tub and watch it spin. You may have to rearrange the load slightly to keep the vibrations to a minimum.

This is not a simple job, it can be fine but requires the complete disassembly of the machine to change the bearings, there are 2 bearings and a seal that require replacement, I can assist in guiding if you wish to do so, it takes around 3 hours total to strip and rebuild.

Your washing machine has a problem with the water unless it is washer-dryer. Water remains in the appliance because drain pump is not functioning properly and laundry is wet.

i would remove the blockages
then run through an empty load cycle of 95deg white wash and some calgon tablets

Is the spin cycle reaching full spin speed or is it not spinning as fast as it should? If it isn't reaching full speed it could be caused by an uneven load (as this will stop some machines from spinning properly). Towels and items which get very heavy when wet can cause this.

hi check the pump first it has to drain before it spins the other cause could be the module control board the control the motor speed hope it helps

Try new bushes and make sure where bushes run is clean and free from carbon H

Blue wiring loom that goes to the front control board from the maim control PCB has bad connection on the user interface.Clean PCB terminals and crimp connector to make connections tighter.if this doesn't work could be user interface fault or main PCB fault.

could be slipping belt issue or electrical problem where in at spin cycle, the motor would not run at its maximum rpm.

It could be the unbalance control that feels that the clothes has too much unbalance, or the brushes in the motor is worn, and need to be replaced.
