you dont have to use the cd if it says you need an updated version, just plug it in and go to the c: drive and it should show up as a removable disk

Try Lime wire or rip music from a cd to a windows media player then syncronize ur ilo to your computer and transfer!

if you have cd's plug in your iLO and then insert your cd. then it will take you to Windows Media Player. the you go to rip and choose the songs you want. then go to Sync

Go to My Computer IlO or name of player music and copy/paste your files in that directory My Computer/ILO/Music/

There should be just google the make and model of the MP3 player.
