Hi,
The problem is with the driver click here to download it.
Installation Instructions:
1. download the file.
2.When the File Download window appears, click Save (Windows XP
users will click Save) this program to disk and click OK. The Save In:
window appears.
3.From the Save In: field, click the down arrow then click to
select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.
4.If the Download Complete window appears, click Close. The file
icon appears on your desktop.
Install
1.Double-click the new icon on the desktop labeled R140747.EXE.
2.The Self-Extracting window appears and prompts you to extract or
unzip to C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R140747. Write down this path so the executable (I.e.
Setup.exe) file can be found later.
3.The Self-Extractor window appears.
4.Click OK.
5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
6.Click the Start button and then click Run.
7.Type C:\DELL\DRIVERS\R140747 in the Open textbox and then click OK.
8.Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

hi,
The first thing is click on my computers select properties then device manager then click on network adapter and see if u have a wireless adapter,if u have one just double click on it and in the DEVICE STATUS box see if the device is working properly if it is then go to DRIVER tab and select update driver..
Before doing the update remove the driver which i gave you..
And if u don't see a wireless adapter in the network adapter then u don't have one.. You have to buy a new one and install it..
This will fix ur problem..
Right click on my computers then select properties..
Do u mean where to buy a new one??
Or How to install a new one?
Can u tell me the complete model of ur Pc /laptop

I downloaded and installed the drivers as suggested, but this did not fix the problem. My computer is not even acknowledging that I have a wireless capability. Have any other ideas?
It doesn't show up in device manager and I don't know how to check the bios
OK. I just checked and it shows NOT INSTALLED. The repair shop must have not reinstalled it when they changed the motherboard or they got the wrong motherboard. Your thoughts? How can I find out where to install a new one?
Thanks
