Your HDMI Cable or Component Cables will plug right into their receiver box. You won't need anything else and they should supply the cables too.

Codes for innovage universal remote to program it with my dish network box

Hi Gw, my name is Mike Houston a Social Media Representative at DISH. I understand you want to program your innvoage remote to our DISH receiver. When we send out our DISH receivers we will include our own DISH universal remotes that can control many different components like; HDTV, surround sound receivers and sound bars. We do not have the codes for other universal remotes to work with our system. I will provide you a link explaining in more detail on programming your remote: http://www.ehow.com/way_5501311_innovage-jumbo-universal-remote-instructions.html

Sat finder detects signal on 61.5 Sat but receiver does not display or lock.

Hi, Mary with Dish Network Customer Service. The 61.5 Satellite carries mostly High Definition programming. If your Satellite Dish is an older model, it is not equipped to bring that Satellite in. It is the part on the Dish called the LNBF (the eyes) that will pick up the satellites. Your receiver is a Standard Definition, you should be reading the 119 & 100 Satellites. I hope this helped but if you have additional questions, please let me know.

After setting up a new tv, the dish remote will not work with the satellite. what could be the problem?

If I understand you correctly, once you installed your new TV, your DISH remote doesn't allow you to change satellite channels. If this is correct, you will need to readdress the remote to the receiver. I have provided a link with these instructions. Included with the link is instructions for programming the remote to your TV.

I hope this helps.

You're closed captioning is all jumbled up on Seattle's KIRO TV from my DISH network. The cc works fine on all other channels. Dish says it's a network problem. Any response?

The CC is provided to DISH (and all cable/satellite companies) by the network that creates the programming. Usually, live TV (like news, sports, etc) is the most jumbled because of the time it takes someone to transpose what is being spoken as it is being spoken. If this is a network that is available OTA (via antenna), verify that the issue is not happening when you are receiving the signal from somewhere other than DISH (if you cannot receive an OTA signal, try at a buddy's house that uses another cable provider). If the problem occurs via OTA or other providers, contact KIRO to have them improve their CC service. If it only happens when viewed with DISH, contact DISH, who will then resolve the issue with KIRO (usually a lag time in signal transmission from the provider).

After programming my NEW Harmony One Logitech remote I can't get it to change channels on the Dish HDTV DVR along with a bunch of other problems.

To control a Dish Network PVR/Satellite, it needs to be set to respond to the default Remote Address (1).

To reset your Dish Network PVR/Satellite to the default Remote Address:

1. Press SYSTEM INFO on the receiver's front panel. The System Information screen displays on the nearby TV and shows the Remote Address.
2. Using the original Dish Network remote, press and hold SAT on your remote control for about three seconds, until all of the mode buttons light up, and then release SAT.
3. Using the NUMBER PAD, press the 1 button
4. Press POUND (#). If you entered the address correctly, SAT will flash three times.
5. Press RECORD. Make sure the Remote Address you see on the System Information screen is 1.
6. Press the SELECT button on the front panel to close the System Information screen.
7. Your Harmony remote should now control your Dish Network PVR/Satellite box

NOTE: Dish Network PVR/Satellite receivers sometimes have two tuners, allowing them to be used in more than one room on different TVs. Harmony remotes can only control a Dish Network receiver's main tuner while still in the same room with direct line of sight to the device.

What other issues are you having with the remote?

Dish hd dvr remote won't work. brand new. it

It sounds like you have interference, try removing the uhf ant from the back of rec and promgram it straight from there. you can also hookup "bunny ears or a pigtail coax to the uhf ant port to increse uhf signal. also make sure the uhf ant is standing straight up.

HD TV

In order to receive HD signals, you will need an HD receiver from Dish Network. You can buy an HD antenna from pretty much any store that sells TV stuff (Target, Wal*Mart, BestBuy, etc) which will allow you to receive over the air HD signals. But in order to get your satellite channels in HD, you will need an HD receiver from Dish Network.
