Question about Mintek MDP-1070
When I plug the unit in, with or without the battery, The Green LED Flashes on and off.
On for about .25 sec, off for about .75 sec - consistent.
Won't play anything, screen will not come on
I had a simular problem last week, nothing seemed to work on it. after playing with it I found that the button that turns the screen off when closed was sticking

Ihave a Mdp 1070 and from what I have learned is that the Co. has gone out of business for obvious reasons. Fortunately I brought mine at Costco so its going back. But youmight want to try and play a music cd all way through to recalibrate the heads. Dunno if this makes sense but i tried it and it worked for a day then went back to its blank self. The batteries have been recalled due to over heating and exploding so might want to exchange it with whom you brought it from.
