Remote is no longer working

My remote control stopped working and I need to find a replacement. any suggestions where i can do so?

    For ilo tv remote code also known as dolby is 0189..took 4 ever 2 find hope it helps u...it was on a ge universal remote. Good luck...

    Remote stopped working
    open your remote and look if you dont have a bad soldering some where use a good magnifier
    if all look good its could be the ir led blow or the
    xtal frequency controler.it as to be some ting like that
    hope that will help ;sometime the batterry look full or test over 1.5 but theres not good replaced before to be shure..

    I have a zenithZ remote control and i need to kni=ow if it will work on my rca television
    if you have this zenith remote the ZN110. then yes it should work your RCA TV. but no one knows the codes or how to program it. so i suggest for you to try and get your original remote that goes with your tv. find the model number of your tv and go to www.replacementremotes.com and search for it. then they will bring up your original remote, if your original is no longer available then they will show you a compatible replacement.

    Remote Doesn't Operate ANY Components
    I have had the same problem, I ended up replacing the IR LED's in the front, and it fixed it - I have no idea why they stopped working, LED's are supposed to be good for at least 10,000 hours continuous use.
    Strange, but since buying a replacement was $200 + and the LED's were around $4. it made sense to replace them...

    Amana Portable A/C Model#AP077R Remote control worked twice and then stopped working. Replaced batteries twice but no luck. Any suggestions?
    I have a similar problem. The remote works for 5 to 10 minutes then no longer works. If I take the batteries out of the remote for 10 minutes (or longer) and reinstall them, the remote will again work for 5 to 10 minutes. I got a replacement remote from Frys and it behaved the same way.

    Remote No Longer Works
    It appears the remote sensor in the Television itself has stopped working. If the TV is still under warranty I would try to contact the manufacturer to see what they can do for you. Can you still change channels manually? If so, this is most likely the case.
