Question about General Electric WHDRE526EWW Top Load Washer

GE adora WHDRE526EWW when started it begins to fill then stops filling and have to restart sometimes three to four times help!!!.

I wish I had a solution, I have the same issue. My WHDRE526EWW Top Load washer stops intermittently sometimes while filling up, sometimes while rinsing, sometimes while washing and sometimes while spinning. I just have to guess when it's going to stop and check on each load frequently to restart it when it stops. Sometimes I can't even get it to start spinning again and I will have to unplug it and plug it back in and then it will spin. Hope someone can help!

I have a GE Adora, side by side, the ice gets clogged in the blades of the crusher and prevents ice from dispensing.
It does sound as your water valve letting water to drip and it will fill and freeze. To check watch the ice cubes. Are they as cubes or all in one .

Sounds like the water inlet valve isn't working. Check your house water pressure and make sure it's not above 80 psi. If it isn't, then call a repair company that handles GE warranty work.

I had the same issue as well. A friend of mine, who does appliance repair said the control board was bad. Had a 5 yr extended protection plan so warranty repair, otherwise looking at @$500. Fixed the problem and have not had it since then (almost 2 yrs now). Hope this helps.

I HAVE A GE WASHER THAT FILLS WITH WATER AND OVERFLOWS. DOESN'T MATTER WHAT SIZE LOAD, IT CONTINUES TO FILL WITH WATER AND OVERFLOWS. IT STOPS WHEN I HIT THE STOP/PAUSE BUTTON.
There is a pressure sensor that needs to be looked into. USUALLY, there is a chamber, on the outside of the washer tub, and out of the top of it is a small plastic hose. This hose runs up to an electrical switch.
Too much soap, over time, can plug up this system, so the machine has no idea how much water is going in...and keeps filling..... Sometimes the hose comes loose, but this makes a fairly immediate water leak, so I suspect something is plugged.

Ge front load washer model WSXH208A Will not spin
Mine kept stopping mid cycle also, pouring water on the floor, then the start/pause button flashed and the door unlocked. I found the solution to clean the lint filter on the GE Adora. Go to http://www.instructables.com/id/GE-Adora-Lint-Filter-Cleanout/?download=pdf

I just did this and my washer is now running instead of the flashing start/pause and door unlocking. It was fairly easy. Make sure you have towels and a flat pan to catch the water if you don't have the machine on a riser. There may be water inside so a wet vac may be helpful too. Once my washer finishes what was in it, I have these funky towels to clean. You'll be very surprised what you find in the filter! Best of luck!
