I have a Samsung UN55B7000 tv and a HT-BD3252 blu-ray home theater system. When I watch blu-ray movies and/or music the surround sound works but when I watch TV the surround sound won't work. I only get sound from the front speakers not the back speakers. The home theater connects to the TV via HDMI for video and optical cable for sound. It worked in the beginning but one day I came home from work and turned on the tv and home theater and no worky no more. Again watching TV the sound will only work on the front speakers but when I watch a blu-ray movie or even play my PS3 the surround sound works. So if it works from the PS3 (connected to tv) why not the TV???? Any help would be appreciated.

The Samsung TX card is used to send part of the audio signal from the main unit to the wireless module that controls the surround sound (rear) speakers for a Samsung Home Theater system. It isn't going to act like a ChromeCast device for your tablet.
You get surround sound only if you hook up your Optical out from your TV to the Optical IN on the HT-H4500 using an optical audio cable. You may have to buy such a cable if one was not included with the TV or the home theater.

hi,
Is there is any optical digital output in your satelite HD. Then connect that optical digital output of satelite HD to the optical digital input of your surround system (blue ray player) using an optical cable.
Then press the function button on the remote of surround sound system (blue ray player) and select D.IN. (D.IN means DIGITAL IN). You will get the audio through the surround sound system. if you need any more assistance fell free to contact me throughfixya.
ok
you have to have a connect going back into the player, the hdmi is only one way there should be and analog the red and white
or
an digital optical out from the tv
if you are not watching tv in hd or the show is not recorded in surround then you will not get any sound from them. if this is not the case you can try a simple optical cable run from the tv to the reciever. This cable is about 50 bucks and has awesome quality. Hope this helps.
as far as hooking up your blu ray player to the sc-pt660, the only real way to utilize the surround sound (with true surround sound) is through the optical audio out. You need to connect your blu ray player through hdmi to your tv and then connect your blu ray player to your surround sound using the optical audio out/in. I, personally have the sc-pt660 hooked up through component cables so I don't waste an HDMI input on my TV. Except for cd's, there is no reason for you to use the actual dvd player part of the surround sound considering you have a blu ray player. In conclusion, hooking your blu ray player and the sc-pt660 up to get better video simply isnt possible (your blu ray player alone gives the best possible resolution, 1080p). As far as audio goes, run an optical audio cable from your blu ray player to your sc-pt660 to get true surround sound.
Hi,
You need to connect your TV to the AUX connection in the back of your HT system. Then set your HT system on AUX 1 and wait about 5 seconds for the TV sound to come through. If it does not work on AUX 1, you may have to try on AUX 2 or AUX 3 settings on your HT system. Make sure the A/V cable you use is good and in working order and is a good quality cable.
Hope that helps, Gary
Hi there, in order to listen to t.v you need to purchase an optical cable and plug this in the optical out of the tv to the optical in on the blue ray then select D.IN.1 on the blue ray and press mode on the remote until it says matrix . This will allow you to listen to the t.v through all speakers. hope this helps. Also remember to take the rubber protectors off the ends of the optical cable, a lot of people forget this :)
