Apple service guy told me to slide the lock switch back & forth several times quickly to "reboot". Problem solved for me. He said you can also reboot by holding the center button and the Menu button simultaneously

SOURCE: my ipod nano wont do anything

Did you try resetting the iPod? If the battery were dead then when you plugged it in, you'd still see something popping up on the screen. What's possible is that your screen got disconnected from the iPod logic board or otherwise got ruined. When you try turning the iPod on can you hear any noise inside? If you toggle the hold switch does it show the orange light? If you can't hear any noise and it doesn't show the orange light, your iPod's logic board probably died. You can get a new one off eBay and replace it if you're comfortable opening your iPod. Otherwise, you can sell the broken iPod on eBay for a decent amount.

When I Connect My Ipod Touch 8gb To My Computer It Wont Turn On And I Didnt Charge It For Like A Month What Should I Do Please Help Me!!!

You are right, it doesn't have enough power to turn on because the battery was drained. You're saying that it wont charge? It could only be the USB cable problem. Try to use a different iPod USB cable and check if it charges the iPod. Another thing is try to charge the iPod using the stand alone USB charger. Your iPod requires high power input. If that doesn't work, you may start to think that it is a battery failure.

Apple ipod not getting charged

Hello,
First, please check your connection (I'm sure you have already done this). Make sure that the cable is plugged in and working on both ends.
If that is fine, I would recommend taking it back and getting a new one. If you just recently purchased it, you should be able to return without a problem. It sounds like you might have a defective product and you don't want to get stuck with it after the return period.
Good news is that when you get the new one, if you use iTunes, it will automatically sync up and you wont have to manually load songs.
Hope this was helpful but if you still have questions, let me know.
Have a great day

My Ipod Nano Wont Charge on the wall Charger.

Hello Kawase,

I would suggest you try charging the unit this one time by connecting it to the computer. I suspect that the charger may be defective if plugging the wall charger into the iPod has no effect on the low battery warning. If the iPod is able to be charged from the USB port on your computer that would tend to confirm that the charger is not working. If the iPod does not charge when connected to either the computer or the wall charger then you may very well have a another defective iPod.

Best Regards
Ken

My ipod nano wont do anything

By pressing the center button and the menu button the same time and holding it for around 6-10 seconds, your device should turn on. You then should be able to access your files and charge your ipod.
