Question about Technics SL-1210 Turntable

1210M5G- warped sound on most records.

Sounds like most  records are slightly warpped, but when I took them back, they played fine on ALL other tables.  It is very annoying.   My best description is that it sounds like phasing issues but I don't think that is possible.  Also, the pitch goes up and down in rapid succession over and over, making everything sound warbly(warped).  My tables are new.  I've tried changing the angle on my needles from 0 degrees alll the way up to 20 degrees, with no audible bettermen, as well as changing my anti-skating and performing several tone arm adjustments, still to no avail. Please give me a sloution or multible troubleshoots to help!      Thank you for your assistance!

One side of my vinyl record will play fine but the other side won't spin right and the needle gets stuck on the record

The only thing you can do is clean the record with cleaning fluid. You will find special cleaning fluids for records on Amazon. If the record is warped you can try a weight pressing down on the record. But sadly if a record is warped bad there's no real cure.

Feel slight warping feeling while driving and more during braking

sounds like the brake disks are warped and need to be replaced or turned. take the vehicle down to your local brake shop and they will do a free inspection of the disks and the brakes and tell you what infact needs to be replaced.

Lp starts off sounding good..shortly after sounds like a warped record.

It would sound like the speed control is not functioning and changing speed up and down. That might sound like a warped record as you describe it. You can try moving the controls and cleaning them with a commercial contact cleaner.

Unit will not eject CD will play fine but won't eject

Once it gets too hot in your car, a stereo or the cd in it can warp.If you press the eject button and the music keeps playing the unit has an electrical problem you can't fix. If you press eject and the disc sounds, or looks like it wants to come out, you might have a warped disc. As a last resort, pull out the stereo and leave it connected. Then try to eject it. If it ejects, then the stereo could be binding.

Brake Pedal pulses back at my foot when I step on brake; kind of like ABS beginning to kick in.

How old are the brakes? It sounds like you may have a warped rotor.

Teac P-988 Everything sounds slow/warped

not passing the "wow and flutter" specs, eh?
The most common cause of this is a loose or defective belt. An inferior belt will have varying thicknesses along it's length. When it hits a skinny part, it will slow slightly. When it hits the thick part, it will speed slightly. Overall effect is that the record sounds warped. has got some good stuff.

Pitch out of Tune

That is a strange issue. Not sure what could be causing this. Are you describing your issue correctly. Or do the records sound warped? If they sound warped, check to make sure that your voltage setting is set correctly for your area (115V or 220V). This is a switch located underneath your turntable platter. Just make sure you power off your unit before making the switch.

If this is not the issue, then I have no clue what you are talking about, as I've never hear about this on a 1200 turntable, and I work on them for a living.

Please be even more specific, or if you can, give us a call here @ the shop, and maybe play a record for us. Perhaps we can walk you through it over the phone. 1.877.357.7677 ext 1

Technic SL - 1210M5G problem.

I would suggest you verify you motor is sound, the platter is not rubbing. Is it direct drive or belt drive? You could go as far as check that your ac to your house is stable and the ac to dc rectifier/transformer/whatever it is called is good. When you say tables are never used or made within the last 6 months?

More details on the tables would help.
