Last night i knocked over a glass with wine on to the guitar laying flat on the coffe table. We cleaned it up and driedit as quickly as we could and let it dry but this morning the strummer is not working , all the other controls on the guitar are working. The strummer just keeps scrolling. It sounds like the wine has caused a "sticky" situation under the strummer. If you feel like you are up to it, you could take the back off of the guitar with a torx wrench (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_10664), and then clean the components with a very damp cloth.

Do this at your own risk. Be careful. Oh, yeah... be sure you've unplugged it before you start. :)

Guitar does not work with guitar hero and everything freezes

you have to open the thing on the wii where you put the SD card, and there will be a red button. Press it. Then, plug in the remote to to controller, open the battery compartment and press the red button. This should sync the remote to the wii. In the future you have to plug in the remote to the controller BEFORE the wii is turned on. As for your second problem i dont know.

Unable to connect drums and guitar for guitar hero world tour wii

i couldn't get the console to see the guitar, so after making sure the the remotes were synched with the console individually, i pressed the reset on the console and then started guitar hero software before putting the remote in the guitar, making sure the first light remained lit in the remote. (am only using the guitar). so far so good, seems to have worked.
