Our fridge is making a clicking sound. The freezer and the fridge part are not cooling, however the lights stay on. There is no running from the motor either. The clicking sound is comming from the back of the fridge.

I have a clicking sound coming from the control panel, and freezer and fridge are not cooling well. Any ideas?

The clicking sound might be from the knob you turn in side the refrigerator, it is hidden. You open fridge door and there is a hole in the under side, probably to left of the temp control knobs, this one has to be turned with a screw driver and you turn it un till it turns off while it is running the cooling system I mean. Once it turns off you turn it counter clock wise just a lil bit. And watch it turn on again on its own, and stay there to make sure it shuts off as well on its own.. if it don't turn off try it again to the right the a lil to the left. Between cycles. This is a timer for the cooling system how long it stays on

Fridge question

Sounds like you mad have a bad relay or overload on the compressor. I would also check your condenser fan motor to make sure its running and blowing air on the compressor to cool it. If its not running the compressor may be overheating and shutting off on its overload. If the condenser fan motor is running I would assume that you would need a new relay and overload it will come in a kit. Usually it will make a clicking sound when the compressor is TRYING to start and then shuts off on its overload if the start components are bad.
Hope this helps _MJ_
