Dymo 450 prints too many lables

Make sure you use genuine DYMO labels, not compatible ones. Also, make sure you select the right size in DYMO Label.

You may have to disable bidirectional support: right-click the printer > Printer Properties > Ports > uncheck the option.

I can't take out the dvd from the drive as that is not ejecting

Hi,
you may have a label or even the metal slide piece stuck in the mechanism. Take it to a computer shop so you dont do more damage trying to open it. Some CD drives have a small reset hole on the front that when an open paper clip is inserted it allows rejection but if a lable is stuck it needs specialized intervention, especially for the 3.5 drive that has metal slide from disk jammed in it

you need to calibrate. hold the feed button down intill it flashes 4 times in a row and the quickly let go. it will feed some labels to calibrate and should stop at the tear off. you also have to set label size in the driver to keep from losing calibration.
