Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
Have you tried it in the dark? There is a photo sensor that is located just above the right soft-key. It looks like a pin hole. Put your thumb over the hole and press a key on the keypad, you should see the keys light up. The purpose of this sensor is to prolong the battery life by not having to light up the keypad in the daylight.
There is a way to disable the photo sensor so that the keypad is on whether it is day or night. Look for a setting that allows you to turn the "battery saver" feature off.
