your machine should have a bridge thickness of 1/8 of an inch. you can go to the freeze timer and take some time out to shorten the freeze cycle buy sliding the switches to on and off. example if switch is set to on at 18 then you wont to turn that switch to off and turn the next lowest number switch to on until you achieve the right thickness of ice. if this dose not work then replace freeze timer.
Unplug your washing machine. Make sure there is no power going to the washing machine.
2
Remove the screws from the cabinet top. Use the screwdrivers and the wrenches because you will have regular screws and bolt-head screws.
Lift off the cabinet top. You may have to lift the front part slightly and pull outward, or pull outward first and then lift the cabinet top off.
4
Locate the plastic switch and remove it. Pay attention to how the old switch is connected to the probes.
5
Install the new switch, attaching the probes in the same manner as the old switch. Some washing machines have clip-type probes, while others will have a U-shaped connector that is meant to be held with screws to the probe areas.
6
Replace your cabinet lid in the opposite steps you took it off. If you had to slide, then lift, set the cabinet lid down and then slide it backward. If you had to lift, then slide, set the back edge down, while keeping the cabinet tilted slightly, slide it back and then set it the rest of the way down.
7
Replace all of the screws and bolt-head screws in the proper locations, again using the screwdriver and wrenches.
8
Plug your washing machine back into the socket. Test the switch by turning on a cycle of the machine. Make sure that it is filling up, agitating, and spinning properly.
You need to lift the document cover, and you should see a small gray slide type switch on the top of the printer's scanner, near the front left corner of the glass. Slide the switch to the unlock position, close the document cover, then turn off the machine. Wait 5 seconds, then turn the machine back on. This should restore the scanner function.
On this model, if you look where the copy paper comes out, just look underneath the scanner. There is a green slide switch with a icon of a pad lock closed and one open. Turn off the power first, then reach under and slide the switch to the unlock side.
Turn on the power and the machine should work.
Good luck.
this could be a couple different things. if it stops at the spin cycle, and makes no noise at all, you need to check the lid switch. if you open the lid, the lid switch is on the right toward the rear. there is a plunger on the lid that activates the switch when you close the lid. if the switch is bad, or the switch housing is broke, replace the switch. be sure to make sure the plunger on the lid isnt broke, and not going in far enough to activate the lid switch. if this all turns out to be ok, it could be the motor slides or jammed pump bearing. you would no if it is one of these if when it gets to the spin cycle, you hear the motor run and it doesnt spin. the motor pivits on slides to one spot to aggitate, and to another spot to spin. sometimes these slides get dry and you just grease the slides and the motor plate so the motor can pivit again. if it is the pump bearing, you will hear the motor and smell "burning rubber". if this is the case, replace the pump. let me know if you have any questions, good luck. shane
