1. make and model number of dishwasher
2. are there any fault codes or lights showing up - which ones
3. at what cycle does the operation stop - eg still washing and there is water in dishwasher - is it warm/ cold, rinse is starting (can hear the pump) but stops halfway, rinse is complete but does not dry..

If your laptop appears to boot up and the hard disk LED flashes, then the problem is probably a back light fault. This can be a faulty inverter or a faulty CCFL lamp. DWF 415 Ikea Whirlpool Dishwasher has constant green blinking light. Drain pump works ok (as it will pump out a jug of water if I tip it into it!) but no water comes in. Cycle stops about 30 seconds after...

Anyone got an answer to this, as I have exactly the same fault.

Dishwasher appears to switch on OK, then after a short time (20 secs?) the pump noise stops and the green light flashes - it seems to e a sequence of 7 flashes, then stop... 7 flashed then stop.

The sequence could indicate a fault detected?

Anyone know anything about these units from IKEA, made by Whirlpool?

Thanks!

When fired the unit appears to discharge all the power but the photo is completely under exposed

If the flash fires but the photos are dark, this typically indicates a fault with one of the following:
- fault of the main transistor that triggers the flash
- fault of the fiber optic cable that connects the flash head with the body

What you have to understand is that when you see one flash in operation, on a properly functioning unit there are actually two flashes in sequence. The first, pre-flash is used for metering the scene, then the follow up is the actual flash that gives the light in the photograph. If the transistor is faulty then it may just discharge the capacitor during the pre-flash, not leaving any energy left for the main flash. If the fiber optic cable is broken (it is very fragile), then the metering stage fails and the flash logic decides to abort the main flash.

Fujitsu inverter air cond. Just stopped working properly. Model outdoor AOT30PMAL indoor unit AST30PBA-W. Code oper. Red led flashes fast continously green led (timer) repeats 13 slow flashes. After power...

It sounds like your inverter is at fault. You will need an inverter tester ( most good service techs will have one ) to prove that the output to the compressor is correct. If the inverter is okay then it will be the compressor at fault with a location error or it is simply seized. A common fault that caused this was the eev remained closed (coil failure ) and caused the compressor to over heat.

Shortly after turning my indesit idl530 on a fault code appears

the problem you are getting is a f01 fault, this is water in the base part of the antiflood devise.to check this if you tip the appliance backwards and water comes from the back at the bottom this is the problem,if you do this till it stops and then leave for approx 24hrs to dry out any water that may have gone on to motor, then check by switching on to start a program,if appears to work ok but then goes back to the same fault(draining all the time and light flashing)you will have to remove base and check for leaks.

Check your filters. Manual says they need to be cleaned every two weeks under normal operation (and in my case more often during renovations). It seems it may not take much to limit air flow enough for the indoor unit to trip out. Hope this helps.

INDESIT WI101

hiya
these machines will do this if the timer dial has been moved during a cycle, they have a memory chip on the main circuit board.

they also do this if the machine has a fault with the exception that they dont stop, the doorlock light flashes and the timer just keeps clicking.

try setting the timer to a dot on the settings then switching the power on, the doorlock light will flash a few times, turn off again select program then switch back on, machine should now be reset and work ok, if not then count the flashes of the doorlock light as this indicates a fault code.

hope this helps
