Start your computer, continously pressong, f2 and del key, go to bios set up,, set default settings, save it, then restart your computer, by pressing ctrl+alt+del

if you only take 5 to 20 sec you might not lose any bios Cmos settings
im not sure what or why you want to save the settings for

once the Cmos battery has been removed for more than 30 - 60 sec your cmos settings will be restored which means no password and failsafe defaults
you could just restore failsafe or optimised defaults if you lose any Cmos settings
you will need to reset the password and the time and date


Restart your computer
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup

Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

How to restore bios system without any input devices?
open your bios setup up. select restore defaults and save your setting.. this would be very helpful... most bios have there default setting backup.. this should resolve your problem..

Please remove the CMOS battery.Hold the power switch and fit the cmos battery . And go to set up BIOS,and set the bios fail save default.

If the problem is same Change the DDR1 RAM from ram slot from any running pc or new if you have a spare.
If the problem is same
OPEN the BIOS chip using any thin pin and fit again tightly.

1. On board display card is not working 2. When we attach external vga card display is working but no BIOS image in mother board and it gives an error that BIOS image is scan. 3.Key board is not working.
who makes the mother board and what bios is it using? can u access the bios at boot up? if so, is the integrated video option on? have you checked for upgrades / updates for the bios ? if you can access the bios, remove all non integrated devices from the mother board, select the option for "default settings" save and exit. then restart. after assuring the keyboard is plugged in the correct port. it should be color coded.

I have an asus a7n8x-la mother board. It ran fine except the cpu cooling fan would speed up and the cpu heat sinc was very warm as compared to others. Finally it would not boot or go to post with the beep....
First of all set the BIOS default.
i think somebody change your Bios settings like-- over clocking or speeding fan etc etc.
add comment for further assistance.
