Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
My son was playing a new game for Xmas, then the screen went blank. It will power up for about 10-20 seconds then shut down...there is nothing on the screen and no sound. System wasn't dropped, wet or modified in any way. He just puts the games in and plays...any help? I have been reading about the systems's being 'bricked", is this a possiblity?
It could be, although if it hasn't been modified in anyway it could be the battery. If your son has used this battery so many times, say a couple months or years, the motherboard or chip could malfunction, causing shortage of power. Try getting a replaceable battery, or if you know another friend or guy that has a son/daughter with an extra battery try using it to save money. If it's not the battery, could be the firmware, or version. Hope these solutions help, let me know if they do or don't.
