There are few possible reasons.
Antenna can't "see" satellite.
Wrong data programmed.
Wrong skew angle.
Damaged RF board.
If you make log-file it will be much easy to understand your problem.
There are many possible reasons of this problem. Maybe antenna didn't see satellite, maybe satellite setup is wrong (frequency, bitrate and so on). The best way to solve your problem is to get logfile from antenna.
JBL is at best a low quality marine grade brand of stereo. It is now garbage. I have worked on hot tub stereos for many years, PolyPlannar is the only one that is any good. If it was bought 30 days ago, where's your warranty?
If you can hear the dish actually serching when it says "searching", there is a good possibility that you have a bad LNB on the dish. Unfortunately, this is not the only thing that can cause the problem. Your best bet is to call KVH @ 4018473327. Make sure you are on the boat when you call and they will run you through all of the programming checks to narrow down your issue. Good luck.
Channel 210 is MLB Home Plate, which is part of the "Best of XM" package. If you haven't subscribed to Best of XM, which costs extra on top of your Sirius base subscription, then you cannot receive that channel.
Additionally, only certain radios are "Best of XM" compatible.. The fact that your car is a 2009 model.. While I don't know what radio it has in it.. I would assume it is a newer model radio that does have Best of XM capabilities, so the problem is most likely that you do not have the Best of XM package.
