Check for a bad cable from the video source to the projector video input.
I would suggest to open the projector and check for a loose connection somewhere around where the light is connected. Also check if the cooling fans are working properly.
Check the number of hours on the projector light as well, If the number of light hours have been exceeded, It may be time to replace it.
Good Luck.

Hi,

if you have Enabled Auto-Shut Off Option. This May Happen. Try Disable Auto Shut-Off Option.

If u still get the same problem then reset the bulb life once..

finally even if the above method doesn't work then you need to replace the bulb, and then reset the bulb life after i replaced it.

Also do reply if u need the manual ill give it to you..
Goodluck,

Epson PowerLite 410W projector (used for a smart board in a classroom) won't project anything or even turn on. Power button (maybe lamp indicator light? I don't really know anything about this...)...

It seems you assume that it is not an overheating problem.
The problem is, the bulb gets really, really hot when using the projector. It doesn't matter whether it has been there without any usage. As you switch it on, it will start to get hot.
But the lamp or other parts of the projector should not get too hot. To control the temperature, air is moved through the projector with the help of fans. Air enters through air filters and move through the projector absorbing heat from hot parts. This prevents these parts from getting overheated.
But what if air doesn't flow freely? Then the parts CAN get overheated.
First, switch on the projector and check whether you can hear the fans working.
Next, switch off the projector and remove power cable.
After about 30 minutes, remove the cover and check whether the air filters are blocked. If they are, clean them with a small brush.
This would probably solve your problem.

My InFocus LP 600 won't turn on, nothing lights up, not even the LED lights. I've had this projector of 6 years and have changed the bulb once before (2007). The other day I was using the projector and...

If you have no LEDs then the projector is not getting power so the problem won't be the bulb.
First, check the mains power cable works. Try it in another appliance if you have one. Swap it of possible. If it has a fuse in the plug, change for a new one of the same amp rating.
Second, confirm that the wall socket you were using still works. Again use another appliance to verify it works.
Third, check the mains inlet on the device for a removeable fuse. I do not think that this model has a user serviceable however it would be worth disconnecting the mains power and checking carefully in the vicinity of the main inlet. It may be under a pop out panel, or a barrel type to be unscrewed.
You should replace this with one from a local hardware or electronics store, ensuring that you match the type very carefully to avoid any further damage.

If none of these steps help, you should contact Infocus service for help. It is likely that your power supply has failed. This projector last shipped in March 2007 with a 2 year warranty so it is unlikely to be covered for repair by this method. You may have purchased an extended warranty or other appliance insurance which could help cover the repair charges or spare parts.

The projector keeps shutting off during use. What may be the problem?

I make sure the air filter stay cleaned and no vents are blocked I have had my projector 2 years. I had to send it in last year. And, it went out again today. I hate this projector and would never buy another one. My other projectors lasted 4 years before I had to even change the bulb. I use it everyday all day. They didn't tell me if it was the bulb or the fan. But again today it just quit while I was using it.

Reset Lamp Hours Timer

This works on a couple different Toshiba models -- might work on yours...

Make sure the main power switch is OFF. Hold the "ON", "MENU", and "INPUT" buttons at the same time and turn the main power switch on. Keep them held until the yellow power standby light comes on, then let go. It is done.
