Does anyone know how I can configure my router to let my ps3 find online games? I recently got Call of Duty 4 and my ps3 found the internet wirelessly. I can connect to the web browser and chat with friends on the ps3 but when I enter Call of Duty and search for online games, it does not find the Call of Duty server.. Does anyone know what the problem is?

We have the same problem... When we try to enter a Call of Duty 4 online game it takes a while before it says "this game is unavailable" when in actually it really is... because when we connect directly to the main ethernet connection on the wall it lets us enter the games... but when we try on the router it does... Whats the Deal... we hav a DyNEX Router
I have the exact same problem and apparently nobody on earth knows how to solve trhe problem. I called the company that made the router, asked Activision and Sony and have not received answers. Please help me!
Had a similiar problem, assign your PS3 a static IP address and put that IP address in the DMZ of your router. This opens all ports/ the entire internet to your PS3 without blockers/ firewalls etc. from your router. (same as direct connection to modem).
Or search which ports to open in your router for COD.
Also note that COD game servers have many issues as well try another game also.
Reboot your system/ network.
Give your PS3 a static IP address from your routers offernings.
Put the PS3 IP in the DMZ of your router (open to the net, no firewall/ blockers).
Try other games also COD/ Activision's gaming servers (Demonware) is known to have many problems.
I have two PS3's and have to turn one on first in order or one will be unable to get past downloading game settings from COD4 or COD5.
