Hardwood Floor Repair.

The wife dropped the metal end of the vacuum hose on the hardwood floor creating a half moon shaped dent. The dent is about 3/4" long and a 1/16" wide. I don't want to replace the whole board. What other options are out there?

Take a damp washcloth and a steam iron

put the damp washcloth over the dent and iron the dent with the steam iron

that should slowly raise the grain

be careful not to get the iron too hot where you scorch the floor

and work slowly, don't get in a hurry

How to clean hardwood floors

For cleaning of hardwood floor onething must keep in mind using of too much wet solution on dirt and then rubbing with cloth can destroy shineness of the floor and makes it dull looking. So it is always best to use vacuum cleaner for removing dirt particles from the floor.

This is one of the advantages of hardwood flooring. With the use of vacuum you can remove other products like hair and nails. For alternate way one can use marketed hardwood floor cleaners. But I will suggest to use vacuum cleaner for cleaning purpose.

Yes, you can use the Bruce hardwood floor cleaner. I've used it many times to clean up after jobs. It brings a nice shine to the floor and is designed for either a hardwood or laminate floor. Hope this helps.
