SOURCE: Lexmark Z845 printer pulls paper sidw ways

I had the same problem with lexmark z845. It is easy to solve this problem.Just do like the picture I post and you never get the paper pull to one side again. The problem is the rolling motor is too strong, so it pull the paper out out the tray in oneside. I use the mini cassette box, stick it with the super glue. And the printer works very well

SOURCE: Printer will only pull the paper in from one side.

Hi !!
Usually this problem happens if there is something wrong with paper feed rollers which is inside the printer .

But to fix teh problem you can try this ---

take out ink cartridges, all the cables, power adapter (black rectangular box at the back) and papers from the paper feeder . Then take the printer in your hands, keep it like upside down and shake it for a while .Then keep it back in its position

Afetr 10-15 mins , install cartridges, cables, power adapter and just 1 sheet of paper on the printer . try to print somethg if still it dows same thg then it means that This is a time to buy a new printer on this christmas !!

SOURCE: Printer 2480- my printer is pulling paper only on right side

Try this :

1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button. (On the X83, press the Select button.)
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

SOURCE: paper pulls in crooked with left side not pulling

This problem comes from the paper wheels. There are small size wheels that feed the paper into the machine. Once one of this wheels is slipping either you change just that wheel or you change the whole set of wheels. So I would take it to a repair shop to see how much it will cost. Other wise time to buy a new one. Good luck

Paper will not pull from left side

Hi, I think you may have a sticking rubber roller. Very carefully check that all rubber rollers in the paper path are turning freely. The other cause is dust, this is a regular problem that I face and the solution is a tissue (best is toilet roll, stronger) soaked in clean water and then wrung out. Wipe all surfaces clean in paper path. If this clears all problems = result. If not, time to buy new (if under warranty, complain) but out of warranty, my experience is replacement is cheaper than repair. Should you find a sticking roller to shaft, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE OIL, use water and wash through gently, HAVING 1ST DISCONNECTED FROM ELECTRICAL SUPPLY. Be lucky

My printer won't use regular paper

If there is nothing extra inside, like paper clips, candy, push pins, the roller that feeds the paper may be broken. Feel the rubber roller in the back that pulls paper in, if it flops up and down at all the end may be broken off and a dealer would need to replace it. Look real close with a flashlight and small mirror and see if something has fallen in where the paper goes.

Epson Stylus CX4600 pulling paper in crooked

Hi, please check if there is a paper jam or any obstruction inside that printer. Check also the platen lever or the left edge guide, make sure that paper is loaded correctly. Try printing again. If issue still present. Your printer needs to be send to service center.

Paper feeder pulls paper incorrectly

A few possibilities exist: Look for something jammed in the paper path- by chance a paper clip, extraneous piece of paper, or even a broken piece of the printer itself. I'd guess there is a multi-section roller which pulls the paper, perhaps one section is slick- a tiny bit of oil or something on it. Something sticky (spilled pop) can goof things too. Anything amiss in paper path will foul up the paper feeding properly.
