I have a Moen Monticello bathroom faucet. I am having trouble with the spout piece. It is loose and moves to the left and right. The sink stopper also does not stay up-or allow the sink to fill with water. I'm not sure if the two items are related. Any suggestions on how to fix it? I think the model number is T4570.

Thanks!

Moving left to right: I am not an expert, but I have installed a fair number of faucets. Seems like a basic issue of just getting under the sink and tightening up. Make sure someone is topside to assure the faucet stays straight and does not move as you tighten up below. It is never easy to get a wrench and your hands in the proper position to tighten up the nut, but don't give up try a smaller Channel lock wrench if necessary.

Moen monticello kitchen spout does not rotate easily

It needs to be taken off and lubed. If you don't have plumber lube you can use vegy oil but it will not last like plumbers lube.

Have a 4 inch center moen that has solid handles with a decorative piece on the bottom. How do I remove the handles?

if it is like your picture then you have a monticello faucet. The handles unscrew. The ball looking part of the handle unscrews just like you are loosening a nut. Then you will be able to get to the cartridges,

Handle is loose water flow weak

to tighten handle, you hold lever(top of handle) while unscrewing round piece below, entire assembly should come off.look down and should be screw down there, tighten it up. flow problem could be the areator, unscrew and clean if need'd. check supply tube's,shut off valve's, (if you have them)make sure they are wide open.
