Question about Visual Audio Players & Recorders

Open Question

Charging VL-535 Dear expert! I can't understand how would be correct to charge my player? do it have to be switched on when it is connected to PC by USB? I read in my User's Manual, that in System Settings must be "Battery Charging" but I haven't got it in my player's System Settings! how should I charge it correctly? Thank You.

SOURCE: charging problem on 2002 929 rr1 blade

I'm thinking your battery is the wrong ah. 8.6 for that type motorcycle is quite low. I would expect around 12 - 14 ah. Actually you should not be draining the battery though. The problem may be in the alternator assy its self. Have you checked all three legs of the charging system coming from the stator? I have found the stator to be the culprit many times in this situation. The bike should not be draining the battery at all if the alternator is charging correctly. What was the oem battery ah that you replaced?

SOURCE: Yamaha FZR 600 not charging correctly with the lights on

I HAD THE SAME ISSUE. CHECK YOUR VOLTAGE OFF O THE MAGNETO, IT SHOULD BE IN THE 25V RANGE. IF THAT CHECKS OUT OK CK THE VOLTAGE IMEDIATLY AFTER THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR, I BET IT IS BELOW 14V. THE FZR IS PRONE TO HAVING THE REGULATOR GO BAD (THE OLDER ONES HAVE NO COOLING FINS AND THEY BURN THEMSELVES UP). THE BEST ONE TO BUY IS THE NEWER VERSION FROM A 1999 FZR, IT HAS COOLING FINS WHICH GREATLY PROLONGS THE LIFE. YOU HAVE TO DO SOME SLIGHT WIRING MODS, BUT NOTHING ANYONE COULDN'T DO. SEARCH FOR FZR REGULATOR UPGRADE AND IT WILL EXPLAIN EVERYTHING! I HOPE THIS HELPS! GOOD LUCK!

Hello i have a mp4 media player, my problem is that no turn on the batery is ok when i put the select in ON the media player no turn on i try to connect in to the pc but no conected to can you help me

Good morning, afternoon, evening or night; whatever time of day you are viewing this. Thank you for choosing FixYa to solve your problem. Your problem is that your MP4 player will not come on, even when you connect it to your PC? Well, you should try recharging your battery. There are two ways you can charge this device using your USB cable. The first way is by connecting the USB cable to your PC. Charging will take 8 hours by this method. The second way is connecting the USB cable to the wall charger that was supplied with your media player. If you had a problem connecting to your PC, you should try charging via the wall charger. Charging is much faster this way than using a computer. If charging doesn't turn your device back on, your battery may be defective. If that's the case, you'll need to get the battery or your media player replaced. Hope it's just a recharge that's needed. Thank you for choosing FixYa as your one-stop solution spot for your problems. Have a good day, afternoon, evening or night; whatever time of day you are viewing this. Without warning and without any impact or damage, it just stopped working, no power, nothing. And it's not a battery issue, the battery was almost completely charged.

Try and reset again.
1. Slide and hold the Power switch up for approximately 20 seconds.
2. Release the Power switch.
3. To turn the player on, slide the Power switch up then release instantly.

Part 2 - Make sure the player is fully charged.
1. Connect the player to the PC.
2. Make sure the computer detects the player.
NOTE: This part is important:, switch the player to MSC mode, then connect it to the PC.  3. Leave the player connected for approximately 2 hours to charge.
4. Disconnect the player from the PC.  5. Verify if you can turn on the player.  6. Reset the player if necessary one more time.

Trouble

Hi,

To resolve this problem, establish that the player is charging correctly as follows:
  1. Connect the player to a USB port on the back of a desktop PC, to a powered hub, or to a power adapter (separately available).
  2. Check the display for the charging icon battery_ac_charge_1.jpg.
    • As the display times out after a few seconds, press any button on the player to reactivate the display.
    • If the battery is fully depleted, the charging icon may not be displayed. Cup the player in your hands to check that the blue power LED behind the Play/Pause and Options buttons is glowing on and off repeatedly. This indicates that the player is successfully charging. After 1 hour of charging, power on the unit to activate the display. The charging icon should be displayed.
  3. Allow the player to charge for at least 6 hours. During this time, if charging from a USB port, please ensure your PC does not enter a power conservation mode (Standby, Sleep, or Hibernate) as this will interrupt charging.
If the player does not indicate a charge, or will not power on after at least 6 hours of charging, please contact Customer Support.
