Metrologic USB Voyager scanner

I recently installed a USB voyager scanner. The scanner was working fine, however it only read 13digits. So i referred to the user manual and found the solution. However after doing this the barcode scanner stopped working. e.g. i scanned a product, it beeped however no digits appeared on screen or in notepad.

I then referred to the USB settings in the manual, and used the 'Enable USB Interface'.
This seemed to help, e.g. When i scanned a product details appeared in notepad however these details werent entirely correct. The code would appear 3times even after scanning once.

Is their another barcode or setting that i have to enable to resolve this?

Microsoft Metrologic MS9520 Voyager Barcode Scanner problem

If it is using the MX009 USB Cable it wont scan with the standard configuration. You will need extra configs such as enable Rs-232 Mode, Enable Xon/Xoff handshaking etc..
These can be found on the www.Metrologic.com website which will divert you to Honeywell website

Voyager 5929 doesn't work with Vista

The problem isn't your scanner or Vista, it's your adapter. Power requirements and speed of data require special adapters. One I always recommend is Scan Technology's part # STI-PS2-USB. I've tested it with all Metrologic scanners and it hasn't failed yet.

Voyager scans into hyer terminal but not Notepad

Did you read the installation and configuration manuals? I download them from this website:
http://tinyurl.com/359pwh

Your scanner might note be configured correctly.

here are the guides I downloaded:
http://tinyurl.com/2sakgf

http://tinyurl.com/33gh4g

And the MFG website where you can download the material:
http://www.metrologic.com/corporate/products/pos/ms9520/

The scanner and host system must use the same communication protocol. I have a feeling the scanner is not configured correctly. The USB and serial connectors are 2 different types of configuration, but there are more.

You can also download the drivers and POS software from there website.
