Hitachi 60 v710 rear projection

My tv won't turn back on, i think the city was doing electrical repairs on this area,what could it happen to my tv ?? is it going to be pretty expensive ??? i'm sure it has power, but is just dead

    How do you know if the lamp is not working? I checked the lamp, and it doesn't look burned, so I assume it works. Any other solutions?

Check a second source such as a dvd player or game system using different cables. If the same issue happens then the tv will need repair. However if the issue is not the same it is either cables or the original source.

Hitachi rear projection TV clicks when you turn it on, no picture
No schematic, major short, usually the power supply or high voltage circuit, nothing you yourself can do. Pro repair about $450.00. If your in electronics replace the HV transistor first.. then??
