this could be something to do with a port setting or port forwarding, try if you can to turn this off also if you have a built in fire wall this could be a problem blocking incomeing connections, if the problem persistes get back to me with the router model and make

have you tried go to your windows firewall and check if yahoo messenger was blocked if you see it's not fine! but if you log in and this message appear again try this: if your antivirus has firewall also maybe that is the problem! if you have this one try to remove the protection for IM and messenger and i'm sure it will work for you

you will need to get into the firewall and look at the URL filter settings. If on windows, go to start, run and type cmd, then type ipconfig. the gateway is the address to plug into your browser. if it is locked you wll need the password.

The easiest way to do this without affecting the other computers is to access the Netgear interface and place your computer in the DMZ. You will probably need to know the IP Address of your computer, I cannot be more specific without knowing the exact model number of the Netgear.
