Door on washing machine is locked with e20 code

This particular code is used when the machine detects a pump problem or water draining problem. In this case, the fault would occurr just before attempting to spin. It turned out to be a blocked filter, accessible from the bottom front of the machine. so the best thing to do is clean the filter on the front of the machine open the flap and undo the filter water will come out so be ready for that. after it is cleaned and filter all back in and secure switch machine back on at plug and run cycle this should fix it. hope this helps.
Here are some error codes for future problems. E10 - not filling
E20 - not draining
E40 - door open
EFO - Filter blocked

E10 code on a zanussi jet system washer

Is it a washer-dryer? E10 relates to a fault with the inlet valve.....usually the valve itself going open circuit.
