You can open a new browser window from these locations :

1. Start -> Programs -> Internet Explorer / Mozilla Firefox.

2. Double-Click the "Internet Explorer / Mozilla" shortcut icon in the 'Desktop'.

3. Click on the "Internet Explorer / Mozilla" shortcut icon in the 'Quick Launch' (Left Side of Task Bar).

4. If a browser window is already open, try "Ctrl+N"!

if it helps tell me....tc! :)

Within Internet Explorer, hold down the CTRL key, and touch either the 'N' key (for a "new" window), or touch the 'T' key (for a new "tab" within IE7 or IE8) and then release the CTRL key.

Today I can't access Yahoo at all, why?

Hi. If you cannot access Yahoo but can access other websites, what I can suggest for you to do is to reset your browser settings. Here are the instructions depending on you browser on how to reset settings.

INTERNET EXPLORER Version 7 & 8:
Click TOOLS > Internet Options > Go to Advanced Tab > Click RESET button > Reset > Wait for it to finish loading, then it's going to ask you to restart your browser. Just close out all the Internet Explorer Browser that you have open. Open a new Internet Explorer then try accessing Yahoo again.

INTERNET EXPLORER Version 9
Click the gear icon on the upper right part of the internet explorer window > Internet Options > Go to Advanced Tab > Click RESET button > Reset > Wait for it to finish loading, then it's going to ask you to restart your browser. Just close out all the Internet Explorer Browser that you have open. Open a new Internet Explorer then try accessing Yahoo again.

MOZILLA FIREFOX Version 3.0 & 3.6
Click on TOOLS > Clear Recent History > On the dropdown box, choose EVERYTHING. > Clear now > Wait for it to finish loading, then it's going to ask you to restart your browser. Just close out all the Mozilla Firefox Browser that you have open. Open a new one then try accessing Yahoo again.

MOZILLA FIREFOX 4.0
Click on FIREFOX on the upper left part of the mozilla firefox window > HISTORY > On the dropdown box, choose EVERYTHING >Click Clear now > Wait for it to finish loading, then it's going to ask you to restart your browser. Just close out all the Mozilla Firefox Browser that you have open. Open a new one then try accessing Yahoo again.

If you cannot connect other websites besides Yahoo, contact your internet provider.

Hope this helps! Have a great day.

The error, LaunchEmptyResponse, occurred when trying to connect to Yahoo! Mail

Hello

1. Close all browser windows and open a new one.

2. Clear your browser's cache including temp files, cookies, and history. If you do not know how then follow the instructions on the help page for the specific browser and browser version you are using:

3. Close that browser window and open a new browser window and sign into your Yahoo Mail here: http://mail.yahoo.com/

4. Reboot if needed!

5. If you are still having a problem with the website, try an alternative browser such as Firefox. It is always good to have an alternative browser so you can test and check to see if your problem is browser specific.

Opening tabs within a browser

Not exactly clear what you meant. Were you asking how to open additional tabs?

For most browsers:
Ctrl + T Opens new tab
Ctrl + N Opens new window
Ctrl + W Closes current tab
Ctrl + Tab Cycles through open tabs.

Alternatively most browsers has a tab that you can click to open new tabs (often has a + symbol on it).

Hope this answers your question. Please leave feedback.

New browser windows open to the right of the previous one.

Instead of opening a new IE browser for each site, try using the Tabs at the top (blank square next to the Website title). (see below)
You can also Right-Click on links on web pages and select "Open Link in New Tab". This should also help your computer run better as opening new browser windows uses more memory.
