They should be adjusted to set voltages. however it is best to shut the color level to the lowest setting then try t balance the screens to achieve the best black and white picture. then turn up your color level. Your brightness level should also be set to 50 % then when you adjust for the best B&W picture. You will have better color and brightness when you reset your color and brightness levels. Hope this helps.

HI, I have a White Rodgers model 1F89-211 thermostat. All I did was move it to the opposite side of a wall into another room and now it runs backwards. I heats on cool and cools on heat. Help?

Phillip...

The SECRET is to connect it exactly as it was (before).

The screws on the control are color coded

R,W, Y AND Green... TYPICALLY that MATCHES THE TERMINALS OF THE SAME COLOR inside you heater controller.

Yes ... Red, White... Yellow...

What you need to do is look at the picture you took... or the notes you took BEFORE disconnecting those wires...

ELSE...

Go to where the HEATER CONTROL BOARD IS...

Pull the front cover... Snap a picture for your memoirs...

and write a TRUTH TABLE

AT THE HEATER... TAKE NOTES...!!

RED SCREW = (for example red wire)
Yellow =
Green =
White =

BACK AT THE Thermostat Screws:

RED = (
SAME COLOR WIRE as at the HEATER)
Yellow = (SAME COLOR
WIRE AS THE HEATER)
Green = (
SAME COLOR WIRE AS THE HEATER)
White = (
SAME COLOR WIRE AS THE HEATER)

You should be fine...

turn the center dial ( for green) down slightly then turn the other two the red and the blue up slightly to get the best screen without a dominate color screen.

Connect a different monitor to your computer, if it still displays the same fault the the problem is the video card and you need a replacement.

Greenish tint to picture

there may be a green tube issue or there could be a screen voltage or screen control adjustment issue. There is a control block with six adjustment screw inside the front panel in front of tv. WARNING high voltage exsit in this set and adjusting these controls really should only be done by a tech,....So be careful

I have a KP-65WV700 and the screen looks a lil to green

OK, I'm the guy that was having the same problem, but had a blue tint to the screen. I also had blue lines running across the screen, and when I followed the steps below that were posted by another user not only did the lines disappear, but the blue haze vanished as well. My tv looks like it's new again, so you may want to try this:

I have fixed this several times on my KP 65WV700

As Slinteriors posted if it is a thin curved line you need to adjust the screen control, it's sorta like a brightness for each color, and if one color is too high it will produce a thin curved line.

The best way I have found to get to the controls is by removing the lower grey speaker cover front the front of the TV. There are 6 screws if i remember, 3 on each side. Then it snaps off, seems like its going to break but you have to pop it off pretty good.

Once its loose you have to remove a cardboard like cover plate in the center that will give you access to the small controller board.

Now be very careful while experimenting on which knob controls which colors. Turn them very slow, if you turn to fast you will cause your TV to shut down. If this happens, turn the adjustment back to original spot and turn TV back on and take it slow.

Adjust the correct color until the line just goes away. Its easiest to do this with a black screen.

Older 90's projection screen. 52 inch

Try opening up the front cover under the speaker outer cover, most speaker fronts should just pull off if you don't see any screws holding it secure near the side close to the front cover. Then there is about 4 or 5 screws that hold the front inner cover on. You are looking for a small black box with 6 adjusting screws . Three of these are for adjusting the focus and three are for adjusting the amount of current going to the CRT's. The markings are very small but you can try turning the Blue screw down and that will decrease the blue ( marked with a B). But if this just makes the other colors seem more powerful you may have a bad blue CRT. There is adjustments for three color CRT's ,Blue , Green and Red, try playing with the Blue and try to get it the way you think it should look but if the Blue just does not want to work right the Blue crt is probably gone.

Monitor screen changes from regular color to a green tinted screen?

Is the cable connected securely? You may need to check your video card also. You may be able to disconnect the cable and get a red, green, blue icon on the screen. If that appears normal then there is nothing wrong with the monitor itself, it may be the cord or the video card.

Hope this helps!
