When trigger is pulled no water comes out to clean carper, however, cleaning solution comes out. I have cleaned everything that I get apart. Still no water.

Does water shot from the hose when you depress the trigger? If it does, then the heater in the handle may be clogged and will have to cleaned out or replaced. If no water squirts out the hose, then check the bottom of the bucket, make sure the gasket or seal is on the auto-load on the bottom of the bucket and not in the hole. The red flow indicator cap may be loose or leaking air. Could have a clogged or pinched water line under the top housing.

These units are known to clog, the water left in from the last use can harden right where the water sprays out. Try using a pin or needle to clean away the harden water. See also if the spay trigger can come apart for a thorough cleaning.
Hi there! To prepare for cleaning, put the solution and water in the top tank. While cleaning, all the dirty water gets sucked into the bottom tank. To clean squeeze trigger to release cleaning solution and slowly push carpet cleaner forward, this equals one wet stroke. Continue to squeeze trigger and slowly pull carpet cleaner back toward you (second wet stroke). Release trigger and slowly push carpet cleaner forward over area just sprayed with solution (dry stroke). Then slowly pull carpet cleaner back toward you without squeezing trigger (dry stroke). To avoid saturating the carpet don't do more than 4 wet strokes over one area. Always end with dry strokes. Here is a link to view the instruction manual if needed. http://hoover.com/file/604/
I brought a rapide ultra carpet washer today , cleaned half of my front room brilliant then stopped spraying water using the trigger on the handle, as the handle comes off for easy storage I took it off, and what\'s happing is when you pull the trigger to release water a piece of plastic pushes on another piece ov plastic to release water and it was not working only by me pushing my finger on the other piece of plastic in side the handle bit, so mines going back ,
The Pumps on these go bad after a couple of months. They rust and will
sometimes spray and other times not then eventually not work at all. If
your a handy man pull the top off it and remove the pump motor and
replace it yourself. The part number is 603-5029 you can put this number
in google shipping and get it to your door for about $15 and replace it
yourself or have a friend do it. Ebay has tons of them once again just
put in the part number and a list of them will come up.
Thanks and have a good one
Sincerely, CRTN
Remove the water tank. You will see 2 red tabbed plastic spray tubes.(where the spray comes out if not clogged) Pinch the clips to remove from the machine. Then you will need to pinch the hose clips to remove the red tabs from the hose. Clean out those red spray nozzles. Next step: have a towel ready and fill the solution tank with water. Put the solution (not water) tank on to where the water tank would go. Place the machine selection knob to rinse/wet only. Now with towel under the hoses that you removed the red tabs. Turn on the machine and pull the trigger to activate the water. You should see water flow out of the hoses that had the red tabs on them. If not, release and pull again the trigger several times. If only 1 hose has water coming out of it then block the one that works and try the process above again to de clog the one that isn't working. Good luck.
Hello dc42 & osuguy101. I suggest using a cleaning solution, 50/50 vinager/water, in the fluid tank to clean the ports. #2 Unit may have a fluid pump problem. Please update me on results.
When you press the trigger an angled piece on the end of the plastic rod attached to the trigger pushes valve button in that then releases fluid. On releasing the trigger, the valve button is supposed to be pushed back out by an internal spring. The button gets sticky with evaporated cleaning fluid and does not come back out, causing fluid to continuously run. Try taking the machine outside, fill the tank with very hot water, pull the trigger, and let the clean, hot water flow through the valve. Perhaps it will free up. If not, the valvle will have to be replace. Either way, once it is working, ALWAYS flush the entire system with hot, clean, clear water to remove any cleaning solution in the system or it will only clog again
