You've got a problem here. It may be solved by using partition recovery tools. Look to use tools available from Open Source Networks, Freeware etc. If, by using thee tools you cannot restore your drive then the only option is to buy a new one. Good Luck. George

I guess your gonna reinstall Windows, is it showed up as unallocated space ?

I've it is, format it to NTFS, and your done.
You can now use this partition.

I have had this problem before and it is a simple fix. What I think has happened to you is that you iPod is automatically syncing songs which I personally dont like. To change this plug in your iPod and then in iTunes click on your iPod in the left side bar and then make sure that 'Manually manage music' or similar is checked and then you should be able to go into the ipod and delete songs etc. and if you want to add music simply drag it from the library onto the iPod in the side pannel.

You can format the computer with the restore discs that came with the computer or with windows installation cd. you can format the hard drive / computer in the setup, it will format the hard drive as you go forward, it will ask if you want to format fast or slow etc.

Plug your ipod into your computer, and open iTunes. You should be able to restore it from there (back to normal operation, however, your music will be gone).

use itunes on your pc uncheck any songs that you have checked (that you want to remove) and perform a sync with your ipod

boot to a bott disk if it is an older system which it appers to be type format c: /u/s at the command prompt. (the flashing thing it will look different depending on brand and os most are just a flashing line. you should take the extra step to typing fdisk and deleting the partitions and creating newones. This utility is pretty self explanitory when you are in it. I can giude you through it if you need it. You need to run the fdisk at the command prompt.

If it is newer software like XP it will come up with a option when booting frok the cd while reinstalling. Choose dlete partition and let it make a new one not just format the drive it will give you more safttey because some viruses can write them selves into the boot sector and escape a format.
