How can I get my deforoster and heater to work

There are several possible causes. Check that you aren't low on anti freeze. If you added anti freeze recently, you want to add 50/50. Not 100% anti freeze. If that isn't it, it could be a bad thermostat. Several other things, but we will start there.

Blower stopped working

there is a blower motor located on the passenger side in the fire wall. to get to it unbolt washer fluid/anti-freeze holding tank then cruise control module and air box. next step is simple unplug the connector on the blower motor go buy a new motor ($50 at autozone) un-screw the bolts holding it in should be three the just reverse what you did to take it out 15 mins tops

Heat doesnt work

check your fluids radiator should be full and resavor should be at full level if you dont have enough anti freeze it wont push fluid into your heater core also pay attention to your tempature gage if the temp is low you wont get good heat your thermostat could be stuck wide open I would try adding anti-freeze first though that usually fixes it make sure its 50/50 if you just add water sooner or later that water will evaporate

My is heat is not work?My car is blowing cold air instead of hot air, I have a brand new heater core, the thermostat is not sticking,I got anti-freeze in it,It's getting cold in I need heat. Please help me

first feel the heater core hoses see if both are hot if so then your problem is in the blend air door must be stuck on cold. is your blower motor blowing cold air if not your blower motor might be the problem. the blend air door is down by the blower motor.

02 ford tauras heater won't heat. Hoses too and from heater core are ''piping hot''. Radiator was recentlly replaced, and is full of 50/50 anti freeze. Also heater motor works on Highest setting only....

The temp door actuator motor is not working on the blower box,the dash will have to be pulled out toward the seats to access the actuator motor.

Bad odor (Wire sheathing?) from vents when fan is on. We definitely have an intermittant (3 or 4 times in past year) driver side actuator problem. Cannot tell if odor is coming from all vents or not....

the heater core is bad it could be leaking and thats what the smell is coming from. you only smell it when the heat is on is because air flows throught the heater core to warm it by the hot anti freeze that flows through the heater core see if you anti freeze resivoir is low.

2000 Chevy Venture not blowing any heat but engine is overheating. Could it be my water pump?

I would highly suspect the thermostat, cost is about $12 for the part and some anti freeze. Good luck

Heater not working changed the blower motor and still nothing

check your coolant levels/ anti freeze .... if theres no air coming through then check your fuses/relys .... if it just heat and its blowing air then check your thermostat
