I have a UTstarcom phone, UTSCDM7025SP + other numbers on the tag. It's
showing a red light on the exterior, and nothing changes when I open
it. When I plug it in to recharge it, no change. What's the problem?

You can generally get a free unlock code for your mobile handset by calling up your cell phone carrier and requesting one. In exchange they will need you phone's IMEI number which you can get by typing *#06# on your dial pad. press ## v i r g i n #. That will reset the phone. your lock code will be the last four of your phone number. it won't delete anything you downloaded, nor will it delete your phonebook.
