Contact a Sony repair depot, give them the model number of your TV, and they should be able to order you a replacement. You can also purchase a Universal Remote. You want to make sure that it will control your TV. A lot of the Universal Remotes won't give you complete control of your TV so choose carefully if you must buy one.

Before you buy that HD flat panel. Try this; disconnect the cable going in to your cable box and connect it directly to your set's cable RF connector at the back of the TV set, then try changing channels with the TV's remote, you may need to do an Auto Program first. Also make sure you select the correct tuner, that is tuner A, or B.
