Timer Jumps When set on a cotton wash which is supposed to take 1hr 26 the clock jumps after a few minutes down to 45 minutes. This doesn't appear to happen every time but I am monitoring. I think it might also happen on some of other wash programmes too.

Hi. The time displayed at the start of the program is an estimated time to complete the cycle. The appliance will calculate the wash time base on load size, water pressure, water temp ect. If a smaller load is to be washed then less water will be required thus shortening the time required to fill and heat water as a result this will reduce the wash time. EG. The more water you put in your kettle the longer it takes to boil.

I've recently purchased a FirgidAir laundry dryer (Model FCED3000ES ELE). The company installed drying time is 45 min that doesn't dry load well. I want to extend drying time to 1hr. Could you...

If you are looking to increase the time, the dryer comes with additional wheels for the timer. The one with the least number of posts is the longest time. I forget if it has two or three posts. You just remove the timer from inside the coin box and slip off the 45 minute wheel, and slide on the 1 hour wheel, and then put the timer back. Very simplet.

There could be moisture in the main board and this can cause this fuzzy condition. Usea good heater to dry the board , check for crusting on connectors, reconnect and test.

Replace the timer, this is very easy. Un plug, remove access panel in the back and un plug the timer. This will be connected right behind the knob. It will be screwed down in front as well. Call your local dealership and get replacement part.
