Did you reset the maintenance kit count after installing? You could still have a bad sensor.

Does it jam at the fuser when doing a single print?

These machines have a Maintenance kit required every 200 000 prints, these MK's include all feed rollers, a transfer roller and the entire fuser assy. To replace the kit fixes all issues I've seen in these printers besides when the cartridge affects print quality.

If it is jamming at the fuser on a single print done via the printer operations panel, and your paper is fresh, it could only be the feed roller having trouble gripping the paper or the fuser not turning/stuffed.

Feed Kit, I have my doubts as to this being your problem

Maintenance Kit Fixes 98% of the time

Was is noisy before it died?
I have seen a few with stuffed fuser drive gears but not many and customers could hear it wearing.

How many prints since last MK? via keypad print a configuration page, count is there ie pages since last maintenance xxxxxx

Notice that no tools are required, so you might as well have a look at the bits on your machine, see the 5 feed rollers, inside the centre you can see a plastic tab that one just pushes in and the feed roller slides right off the shaft, that you can see with cassette removed, there is also one on the cassete and another near the first, the cresent shaped roller, clicks into tray 1 feed, Back door of printer just comes out when you push on the tabs near hinge point on each side. then fuser is released by it's two blue tabs.

oh and the other funny hook is for hooking out the old transfer roller (pictured). It lives in base of machine, remove cartridge and you will find him.

If you have extra cassettes ie DTN or TN you can switch rollers from most used tray to least, but like I say you might well have a stuffed fuser. You can buy just fuser and just feed rollers, ie info link.

Fuser is not installed fully, or fuser drive gear is faulty, would of been noisy pre kit

Jam inside top cover 13.05.00 also change fuser assembly

To remove paper jam. Just remove the toner cartridge and pullout jammed paper. If still coming paper jammed error message. Switch of the printer and the printer will roll over the paper jammed.

Changing of fuser drum is required if the print out came with the black strips. This happens when you print large volume of printing jobs.

Make sure that the paper size is set to letter, not legal. Check this on the printer and the computer printer software.

Possible solution: Change the manual feed setting in "printer properties"

Paper jam problem in laser printer 4100

if this happens every time you need to replace the fuser. but there is a possibility it could be the main gear drive assembly, 9 times out of 10 it's the fuser. a gear on the fuser usually breaks a few teeth. the fuser is very easy to replace and is a part that will eventually need replacing on all printers.
