The Windows registry is a databaserepository of information about a computer's configuration. Installingand uninstalling software will make your registry a mess, leading todecreased PC performance and causing computer crashes.

Theregistry size keeps growing when you use Windows. When the registrybecomes very large, your computer's performance will be decayed andunstable. Some computer users even spend a lot of time trying to gothrough the registry and edit it manually. Not only can this be adaunting task, it is also a risky one.

Installation CD will not solve UNLESS you do a complete rebuild of the system.

You can subscribe to one of the regitry cleaners that scan and then REPAIR the errors. I have found it worth it to do this. Sometimes you need to run the scanner/cleaner several times to clear all the errors.

How to fix the blue screen error on window 7 of a new branded computer

I just bought a laptop with window 7 OS. So, I unpacked the box and set it up. I press the power button and my new computer comes to life. I go through the setup process and download the latest Windows updates. My computer restarts itself and greets me with a window 7 blue screen of death.
Well isn’t that just great. You would think Microsoft would get their act together by now. I shut it down and restart it again this time it starts up normally. The first thing I do is install my registry repair software. I run it not expecting to find anything, since I have not loaded any software on my brand new computer yet. Well I was wrong, 127 errors.
I backup the original registry just in case and run the repair option. This completely solved my problem and I have not had another episode of the Windows 7 blue screen error. In fact it has been several months now and my computer has been running flawlessly. I feel bad for the average customer that would not know how to handle this situation.
While Windows 7 has been greatly improved it still will have minor problems occasionally. Including the Windows registry. It seems they did nothing to solve that problem. However it still is a great improvement over the other operating systems. I would choose Windows 7 over any other Windows operating system.
I do recommend you get a good professional registry cleaner. Windows has not provide one so you will have to purchase one from a third party. The registry scanner/cleaners we recommend our on our main page. Any of these will work great with any Windows operating system, including Windows 7.
You can avoid future problems by keeping your registry optimized and clean. You may try installing older software that is not compatible with Windows 7. When doing so the software will make changes to the registry. You need to delete or repair these registry entries that try to reference software that is not there or not working properly.
Most people do not do this and this is where problems begin. The more corrupt or orphaned registry entries you have the slower your computer will become. In most cases this is why older computers become so slow. Not sure if you have a registry problem? Download one of the registry cleaners and run it. This will tell you how many errors you have. You can decide from there if you need to purchase the software or not. It is free to scan but you will have to buy the software to make repairs, it is a wise investment.

Common Signs Of Windows Registry Errors

  • Slow start-up, shut-down:

The first sign commonly observed in windows registry error is PC's slow start up and shot down. As the windows registry gets large and disorganised, the PC takes too much time to bootup and the same is the case with shut down procedure. The loading and unloading of the start up programs takes a long time.

  • Frequent Error Messages:

A corrupt and disorganised windows registry gives rise to frequent error messages. When the windows search the registry for its related entries, you get error messages as they are not referenced properly.

  • Freezes and Crashes:

If the windows operating system cannot find the corresponding registry entry, then the computer just freezes and crashes. This is a very important sign showing that the windows registry is corrupt and needs an urgent repair.

  • Blue Screen Of Death:

Blue screen of message is a final warning message displayed with blue screen so as to prevent the damage to the PC. They are more commonly referred as stop errors. When the PC faces critical failure, then it leads to BSOD.

  • Sluggish Performance:

Due to the corrupt and disorganised windows registry, the PC suffers from sluggish performance. Even a brand new PC when has cluttered windows registry experiences slow system performance.

  • Cannot Add/Remove a Program:

If you want to add/remove a program, then you enter the control panel and make settings. But with corrupted registry entries, you can't even uninstall the programs normally.

Why Do You Get Windows Registry Errors?

After knowing about the windows registry and signs of the registry errors, you may be worrying about the actual causes for the windows registry errors. Though there are many reasons accounting for the registry errors, but the below highlighted ones are known to cause severe effect.

  • Multitude of Programs:

Generally what we do is download all sorts of things even if it is not necessary. There are many programs on our hard disk which we do not even touch. This multitude of programs uses a lot of memory and processing capacity. It makes the registry to get overloaded.

  • Spyware, Adware, Viruses or Malware:

As the windows registry is the core of the PC, many viruses and spyware attack it. They simply create registry and/or modify the keys and infect them. For a normal person, it is very dangerous to handle the registry keys. Only a technically competent person can edit them.

  • Tracking Programs:

Some internet programs install themselves and have registry keys associated with them. They do have multiple keys within the registry. They get mixed up with the normal registry keys and are difficult to delete due to their multiple names and folders.

  • Incomplete Install & Un-installation of Programs:

While installing and/or uninstalling the programs, you need to follow the official program but some just add/delete them manually. Even if you delete the program manually, the registry keys are not deleted. So you have to fully uninstall the program along with the associated registry keys. The same is the case with failed and incomplete installations. The registry key already stays there. If you make incomplete installation, the windows registry gets overloaded with corrupt entries and gives your error messages.

  • Continued Usage:

The more the software and hardware you have on your PC, the more is windows registry. Over the prolonged usage, the registry becomes cluttered and disorganised. Whenever the data changes, the windows registry becomes overloaded and the corresponding registry keys are not updated. So this results in a corrupt windows registry and we do observe the registry errors.

hope this helps

Why my computer is always encounter a blue screen ?? every time i use my comp it always a blue sreen.... im using windos XP V2002, what can i do to avoid this problem?? plzzz....help me....thanks... ...

CERTIFIED SHOP OWNER AND EXPERT HERE
Many times an operating system will refuse to shut down/ENCOUNTER A BLUE SCREEN because of computer Registry error problems. For example, if you download and install tune up 2010, it may fix your registry automatically for you however if it fails to, your operating system will continue to fail to shutdown. Device drivers are very well known for causing this error and if you have installed a new device and your computer is not picking up the new device properly, then the computer will not shut down. There are several forms of viruses that cause the system to stay on, power problems may cause the system to crash during a storm and thus damage the computer registry. A system defragmentation, cleanup, along with a registry clean would be the first best ideas.

My hp pavilion desktop is blue screening.

Hi,
Is your computer infected with the XP blue screen error? This is the error that shows up as blue screen with white text, and there is usually no way to recover the computer, except to restart it. For some people, the blue screen may go away after that, but that was certainly not the case for me a few months ago. It kept reappearing regularly afterwards, and I was convinced that something was wrong with the system.
1. Why Does The Error Occur?
Once the blue screen error persist on your computer, it will not go away unless you fix it. The most common reason for the problem is errors in the computer registry. It contains all the instructions that instruct your program applications to run correctly.
2. How To Repair The Registry?
The blue screen problem can be easily fixed by using a registry cleaner, if your errors are caused by errors in the registry. This was exactly what I did to cure my computer. It does not only get rid of the blue screen, but you should also find that your computer performance will improve if you have never maintained your registry before.
To clean your registry, you will need to download a cleaner software and run a free scan to find all the errors. Here are some of the Best Registry Cleaners :Tuneup Utilities,Registry Mechanic,CCleaner.

If unfortunately, your computer problems are coming from the RAM, you will have to replace the faulty RAM stick. You can also test your current RAM stick by changing it with another working one, and see if the blue screen error returns. If the error still persists, it would mean that there is no problem with the RAM stick, and vice versa.

Memory dump

There are essentially two major causes of the physical memory dump screen: Running way to many programs at once, errors in the Windows registry. The first cause can be fixed rather easily. Simply run fewer programs or purchase additional RAM or processor upgrades. Your computer is running past its specified limits. But keep in mind the blue screen of
death should happen very infrequently. If you see the physical memory dump blue screen more often then the problem is errors in the Windows registry. This is a more abit of a harder problem to deal with. The registry is the most important component of your computer. The registry contains settings and information to run all software and hardware on the computers. When there are errors in the registry it disrupts the computers ability to communicate. When the system cannot compute, it freezes up and displays the Windows blue screen.
I found a registry cleaner that is free and works rather well. It is named cCleaner, has been around for some time and did I mention FREE...Download it from thelink below run it should clean up your registry...where good men fear to tread.

good luck, please leave a rating...thank you
