You can TRY and dry out the camera, but I can pretty much guarantee you that there is corrosion inside and it will eventually fail if it hasn't done so already. The Olympus Stylus Tough cameras are not very tough or waterproof unfortunately. I have seen dozens of them with smashed LCD windows or that have leaked water.
Don't buy a waterproof camera, cause they aren't waterproof. Buy an underwater case and put your camera in that.
To try and dry out the camera, some people suggest putting it in a ziplock back with rice to pull out the moisture, it's not a bad thing to try. The fog in the lens MIGHT go away, but it will most likely leave spots or a big ring which will show up on all your pictures.
Your camera is most likely a goner, sorry to say.

1. Turn PC on. 2. Plug camera cable into Camera. 3. Plug camera cable USB end into computer USB port. 4. Turn on Camera... wait until camera show message 'USB, PC, Pictbridge'. 5. PC should be selected if not select by highlighting and press shutter button. 6. Press 'Shutter' button. 7. Window 'Autoplay' appears on PC. Select 'import' in Autoplay window. 8. Another window will ask you to name your picture folder. Give it a name. 9. The pictures download to the picture folder automatically. 10. Turn the camera off and disconnect cable from camera and from the PC 11. ENJOY!!
Since the camera is billed as waterproof I would send it to an Olympus service center for an evaluation to see if it going to be covered under warranty for repair if I were you. The repair techs will evaluate the camera and let you know if it is indeed repairable.
Olympus will charge a flat rate repair fee for this product if beyond the one year factory warranty or the warranty is voided. The cost is $107.85 plus your local sales tax. This covers parts and labor, factory cleaning and diagnostic check, 6 month warranty and the cost of shipping the product back to you is all included in that price.
Have same problem when camera is used underwater. Take out battery and xd card. Put camera in front of fan with lid open and facing fan for several hours.
My girlfirend just got me this camera and I've noticed that it takes fine pictures when the lighting is good. Under low light (i.e. underwater or in the dark) it's not so hot. I don't think there is a fix for that.
I had the 33WR last year, and opened it up. My subjective opinion is that it cannot withstand the pressure underwater. Someone tried it and water got in.
