Logictech Quick Cam

If you still have the packaging and or manual for this web cam check with those to make sure that it is compatible with your computer. Window 7 is great with older technology but it can't always detect the right software for certain products. If the camera came with driver software try installing that often more times than not the installation software will notify you if your product is not compatible with the computer. I you don't have the software for the web cam you can go onto the logictech support page and they have a great out detect search function. http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support-downloads

Unplug your cam
uninstall any current webcam software
restart your computer
visit the logitech website - identify your cam and click on the picture

download the installer.
run the installation set up and note the options - you may not want the Logitech Chat but the Desktop icon is a must.
Note - you will also need DirectX download to support your webcam - this is probably covered in the installer
Connect your webcam when prompted.

no mic you haveto use the ear bud and mic combo that came with the cam. or use another headset.

sound like a corrupt driver file on the installation cd try this one

in the skype settings you should be able to chose which device to use. also you can go to (in windows) start,control panel, system, hardware tab, devices find the internal cam right click and chose disable.

Hello! I have not used my cam as Webcam for many years, but I think all you have to do is connect the cam with PC, move the SELECT NOB / SWITCH on WEBCAM mood and the Windows (XP) will automatically detect NEW HARDWARE (Webcam). Provide the drivers information and files from the disk and you are done.

BTW, its webcam result is not as good as its still picture quality.

i got that camera but i loss software so where i acn get software for live cam voice

disconnect the cam and restart you system and then after restarting connect back the cam and let the system detect it. and follow the installation procedure as computer appear.

if nothing work then uninstall the cam driver and restart.
and then reinstall the cam driver again(disconnect first the cam from the laptop) after installing connect back the cam and let detect again the system.

if nothing work notify me for further instruction.

Probably the driver isn't installed properly. Try updating the driver for PC-CAM 300 and PC-CAM 600.
