Trying to use port forwarding

I am having trouble with port forwarding. I have 5 people in the office I need to be able to connect from home to their win xp pro machines in the office using remote desktop. I have the instructions to edit the registry and did so last night but I can only make a connection from outside the office on 3389. The pc who has 3389 gets thru - no one else. I must be doing something wrong. please help

I am using a Linksys WRV54G router that has port forwarding. The computers I am connecting to are all running windows XP pro. The Router has the firewall turned on and so do the pc's. I have changed the ports on all the pc's but I have discovered that trying to connect from inside the building is not working either. What port numbers would you recommend using to replace the 3389. Maybe that is where my problem is coming from. The ports may be "used".

You will have to open port or forwar it, I will need more info from you.

    1. Do you use router?

    2. What kind of firewalls computers have/both yours and that you need to connect to?

    3. What OS do you have?

It may be that the company has the firewall on its server, or on its router, I would suggest talking to the IT specialist. And if you can get it to work use upper ports like 40000 and up to 65535 since those ports are less used and it is more secured.

Wii error code 86420

Error Code: 86420 This error occurs when there is a communication problem between players during online gameplay.
Try this:
  1. If your router's security software (firewall) is turned on, it may block communication that is required for online gameplay. To fix this, try disabling the router's firewall*.
    1. Most firewall settings are located under the "Advanced" or "Security" tab.
  2. If the problem still persists with the firewall off, you may need to open ports on your router through the Port Forwarding feature.
    1. Create a manual connection on your Wii and assign a static IP Address.
    2. Open ports 1 through 65535 as both TCP and UDP.
    3. Ensure the ports are forwarded to the same IP Address given to the Wii during the manual setup.
Trouble connecting to a friend?
If the above steps have not resolved the issue and you are trying to connect with specific friends, the problem could potentially be an issue on your friend's network. Your friend will have to perform these troubleshooting steps with their home network.

My xbox is having trouble singing into live... It sai that a problem have occored whle singing in. What's wrong?

If you are connected through a router, you will need to setup the port forwarding, you can find a manual to access these settings on your router at your routers manufacturers website, and you can find the ports you need forwarded at on there technical page. if this is already done, and you run through a router also, you may need to do a firmware update to your router, again you can find the updates at your routers manufacturers home page.
Although, if you are not connected to a router, and directly through your modem, it can be that your modem is going bad, your service provider is doing maintance, your network made a hickup, or you simply have a bad connection wither it be from the cables that run under your house, or inside your xbox.

Inability access from other computers

You need to check with your router vendor on how to setup DMZ or Port Forwarding for your DCS-5220 in your router. (For Port Forwarding, please open BOTH HTTP Port and RTSP Port and select the Protocol as TCP for HTTP Port and select the Protocol as TCP/UDP(Both) for RTSP Port.
