IBM Wheelwriter 2, the bottom half of the letters are not printing. It is not the ribbon because I have changed it out.

Two things come to mind for this problem. First try pushing down firmly on both ends of the black rubber platen roller. Sometimes the black plastic latch on either side may break causing one side of the roller to lift up causing partial print. The other possibility is the ribbon is not lifting correctly. A technician can adjust the ribbon lift. After typing a few letters, take the ribbon out and look at the letters on the ribbon. Are they in the middle of the ribbon or are they at the top or bottom of the ribbon? middle of ribbon is correct.

Vizio half of screen is solid color bars. Top half works great.

You have either the circuit board that drives that half of the screen(one for top and another for the bottom) or you have a bad display panel.

Screen does not display complete numbers

Half of the display is only working, the problem is in the driver ic that drives the display, it is simply not cost effective to repair the item, further ahead to replace the calculator.

Hi FIXYA the pannel display on my Sony PMC-MD55 Shelf System is not showing corectlly ,i see half numbers and half letters ,do i need to replace the whole display or is it an electric pb , i will...

Seems that the display is faulty and should be replaced as a whole assembly. You can check if the linking cord is faulty and if the power supply to the display is correct.

Partial Display Screen Damage

The screen will keep malfunctioning since it fell and its display is half top the screen. is the phone slide? if it is, it is the flex on the phone screen that will need to be change. but if it did not solve the problem, then,

I advice you get a brand new screen for replacement and when going to get the screen, please go with the phone so that you can get the exact screen and a working screen.

Monitor is showing bottob half display and upper half is blackout

Hate to say it, but time for a new monitor... will cost you WAY more to fix than to pop-by a garage sale and grab a new monitor.

(It's not even worth a repair-persons time to do it...)
