My quasar started given me problems when you tape a program and try to watch it . the tv screen flutters and the sound will not come in clear. You cannot watch a rented movie because it does the same thing. serial j11a91751 model vhq401

EWhat ever you are watching through your VCR at the time and to put a tape in and hit the record button.

try adjust screen up, in you see horizontal line in bottom, the tv have the vertical ic with cold solder or bad.

I have a quasar model vv1305 t v -vcr combo. the vcr loads and ejects the tape, but when you try to play or rewind it prints on the screen vcr lock activated . need help

the tuner is getting a weak signal and that is why the vertical sync signal is weak and the picture is rolling .check the cable on the back

Thank you, but I have resolved the problem, I read some complaints that sound close and tried plugging in the input jacks from the tv to the converter box and the picture and sound came on...oh what a relief and thankful

the plyback of your tv had a problem, there's a leak that's why you heared a sound.

The VCR will have to be on channel 60 as well in order to record a program. Hope this helps....accordianman

Try disconnecting the TV from the power outlet and leave OFF for a couple of minutes.
If that did not work, try pressing the "DEMO" button on the remote or the front panel if you have one, or you may want to go into menu and look for something that says "demo"

your tape guides are out of calibration on all your pre - recorded tapes , or they are out of adjustment ( maybe even loose ) now ; - - put your camcorder close , next to your ear ? and . . . listen ! to a new tape in play mode - if you hear a fluttering sound like a deck of cards being shuffled softly , the camera is damaging all your tapes and needs alignment ;
