Question about Kenmore HE2 Plus Front Load Washer

I have an HE2 Plus Front Loader. When it drains,

I have an HE2 Plus Front Loader. When it drains, it sounds like it is washing rocks...what could this be, and how do I fix it?

Sounds like there might be something in the pump that got past the button trap. You will have to remove the pump to check it.

When my Kenmore front loader goes into the spin cycle, it sounds like there are a ton of medium sized rocks in it. It is very loud. I turned it off and removed the clothes. What is causing it to do...

This is caused by a worn out rear washer tub bearing, the whole washer must be pulled apart to replace it.

My kenmore front loader does not go into the spin cyclr and water is left in the drum

Most likely either the drain pump or hose is clogged or perhaps the drain pump is not working. Machine will not spin with water still in the drum.. Check all connections.

Regarding the kenmore he2 plus front loader washer.f-21 keeps coming on.actually worked for a couple loads today but f-21 started coming on again after i started washing a 3rd load of colored clothes.seems...

There is a strainer on the drain pump that is clogged. The manual does not mention this at all, it merely states the drain hose is kinked or clogged.

Under the front door there is a panel that is the width of the machine and is held in place by two screws, one on either side.

When you remove that you will see the pump and the the strainer attached to it. Unscrew the strainer (put a small pan under it to catch excess water) and remove to remove the junk accumulated.

Also, attached to the panel is another manual that refers to the error codes you are seeing.

HE2 Plus blinks F-11

Look for the technical brochure. Mine was on the lower kick panel taped inside. I would not take off the back panel first. Maybe the top or the lower front if it is a front loader. It tells you how to do diagnostics and what the codes mean.

It may be that the drain pump is not the problem at all. Error Code F-28 on the Kenmore HE2 means that there is a signal error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the Motor Control Unit (MCU)
