Built in monitor speakers not working

Appears that my Proview model #: 780 has built in speakers,
but after exhausting all options, I cannot get sound, any ideas
to assist me? sure would appreciate some help.

    my moniter speakers are not working, people tell me i have to install a drive, how do u do that

    Upgraded my mom's coputer to a new Lenove, but has older Proview flat screen with built in speakers. Appears the speakers are not compatible with Lenovo. Odd. Nothing fancy, nothing strange. Yes, I checked the obvious - everything seems to be working OK.



    Suggestions?

Did u check with the volume button on the side of the monitor.
Also pls check the connections and also the volume settings in windows.

If they dont work, then try with external speakers to find out if it is a problem with the mionitor or the speakers.

Speakers are not working. I do not have a manual for the product. I am assuming that the speakers are built in since there appears to be no input jack on the monitor into which speakers can be plugged.
So u are using this lcd monitor with ur pc? been trying to look it around and i really dont think this one have built in speakers, u need to plug ur speakers to ur pc, not to ur monitor.

Please try to check it from Control Panel > Sound, speech & audio devices > Sound and Audio Devices > Hardware tab > then select the Device Name then click Properties tab to verify its condition status or you opt to click Troubleshoot tab. regards

How to connect Acer h233h so that I can hear the speakers.
you should be able to get sound when connected trough any of the three port. best port to use is hdmi or dvi connection. adjust your volume on your computer and make sure your audio drivers are updated.

I recently bought a prowiew monitor from a friend, and would like to know how to get sound from the built in speakers.
Proview monitors with built in speakers have a jack on the bottom for an 1/8 inch stereo audio cable connection to the sound card.
